What We Believe

United Methodist

We are part of the United Methodist Tradition. We follow the United Methodist doctrine, with a guiding principle to welcome everyone and to help them grow in their faith and spiritual journey.

God

  • We believe in one God,

  • He created everything in heaven and earth.

  • He sent His only begotten son, Jesus, to sacrifice for our sins.

Jesus

  • We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God.

  • He was incarnate, truly human.

  • He was crucified on the cross. He suffered death and was buried.     

  • He rose again on the third day.

  • He ascended into heaven.

  • He will come again.

Holy Spirit

  • We believe in the Holy Spirit that was sent after the ascension of Jesus Christ.

  • The Holy Spirit guides us with God's leading.
